Client completes 5k run and receives an award!
Next Step client Chris Meier, a below knee amputee, recently completed the Summit NJ 5K run after having lost his limb only two years ago. Mike Moschella, a prosthetist at Next Step Orthopaedics said, “Chris's persistence and hard work are major contributing factors to his success.”
After recent surgery to remove a bone spur, Chris received a new socket and attended physical therapy at Atlantic Rehabilitation in New Providence, NJ. Here, he received prosthetic gait training and attended the Amputee Walking school under the guidance of physical therapist Shri.
“We are very proud of Chris and can’t wait to see what he does next!” says Mike.
